Pour is a milky yellow with a large white head. Aroma is wheat malt and maybe some coriander. Flavor is tart and a bit of spice. Finish is where some residual hops show up. Not a horrible beer. More of a wit then a hoppy IPA.

It’s official, I have never seen this beer anywhere but the baseball stadium. Guess I have to rate it. Don’t know what it usually goes for, but 10 bucks hurts. I well. Draft pint at Safeco. Pours a pineapple juice yellow color into a fitting plastic cup. Mariners logo on the cup=appearance 5. Hop forward aroma. Still doesn’t come.off as an IPA for some reason. Grainy flavor. Lemon. Hops. Not bad, but just okay for me. Go Mariners.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 9/7/2015. Pours hazy golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, melon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with well balanced citrus hops, fruity yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, melon, orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Moderate amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness and earthy spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, melon, lemon/orange peel, pear, apple, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Good robustness, complexity, and balance of citrus hops, fruity yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; with a good malt/bitter/spiciness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a good white IPA style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of citrus hops, fruity yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Bryan M gave me this as he shared from his variety pack, THANKS! From a lager loven standpoint, this is more IPA than I wanted, was hoping since it was blue moon it would not really be on ipa stye. Was leaning towards something a little more in the white beer scene. Not in yer face for an ipa but still on white ipa style and has many of the nasty IPA attributes so common in that terrible cat..

Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a rich, three centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of grass, wheat, coriander seed, a bit of curacao and some light spices - no real hops nor bitterness noticeable. Light to Medium-bodied; Grassy notes of hops up front with some light resin and pine flavours, some light yeast and herbal elements and a little sugars from the curacao and full oranges. Aftertaste shows a mainly grassy and herbal flavour with a decent balance between the wheat, grass and hops with a bit more of an emphasis on the grassy notes. Overall, not the worst beer for the style, but nothing that stands out nor excells. That said, looking at the ratings thus far, I was surprised in a positive way on how this turned out. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Giant Food in Falls Church, Virginia on 03-April-2015 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 08-May-2015.

Location: Draft at a Buffalo Wild Wings, 5/8/15

Aroma: The aroma is fruity, spice, and wit, with some hip notes as well
Appearance: It pours a cloudy orange color, completely unclear, lasting white head
Flavor: Tastes lightly sweet, some spice, wheat, and a decent hop bitterness
Palate: Light-medium bodied, soft to average carbonation, and a dryish finish
Overall Impression: Not too bad overall. I didn't go in with super high expectations, but this is solid. Just I guess, but it seems to me this would probably have a slightly higher average on here if its wasn't for the Blue Moon on the label.

Bottle: Pours hazy, dark yellow with a small white head. Orange, wheat aroma. Taste is citrus, lemon, orange malt...wheat malt. Floral, orange-peel bittering. Just ok, overall....less wheat and more hops would certainly help in the IPA-ness.
