Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a brown color with a small foamy tan head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tart and sour with notes of vinegar and soy sauce. The aroma was tart and sour with notes of wood, cherry and vinegar. Long finish. Medium body. Very well done to style, if I had tasted it blind I would have sworn it was from Belgium.

Keg at Man in The Moon, Stockholm. Clear burgundy colour, minimal head. Neutral, slightly piney nose. Lights bodied with lactic/citric tartness and clean mouthfeel, low carbonation. Lemon, sour milk and pine, notes of fat. Slight resinous bitterness. All around unpleasant, unfortunately.

Thin, poorly carbonated and only mildly sour. Berry balsamic notes on the fade but quickly dissipates into nothingness.

Clearish, nice ruby and muddied brown coloured body with a faintish, two centimetre tall, that fades fast, light tan head. Aroma of sour grapes, a hint of cherries, some oak and yeast along with the funk, but mostly a malty and dry fruity kick in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong pungent oak and light sour funkiness with the cherries and grapes the most flavourful, coupled with some malt, earth, oak and vanilla, even, but the sourness shows through and it’s slightly elegant. Aftertaste has a relatively mild blend of the yeast, oak, cherries, sourness, funk, malt and a touch of sweetness on the end. Overall, definitely not as bad as I was expecting, but not an amazing beer, either. A good beer that should be sampled if you can find it, and especially if you like sours, since this one comes from THIS side of Vleteren. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), on 01-October-2015 for US$2,25 sampled almost a year later on 23-September-2016 at home in Washington.

Pours a dark ruby-purple from a bottle. Smell is light red wine and cranberry. Flavor is straight up cran-apple juice, with a little oak in there. Weird, very thin. Okay beer.

12oz bottle thanks to jsquir. Pours out a crisp copper topped with a small ring of head. Nose is sour some cherries and barrel. Taste is more of the sour some cherries and a odd end.

Bottle. Fizzy reddish cola pour with no head and a lot of large bubbles rising. Aromas are underwhelming and lack complexity. A hint of toffee and the slightest notion of tart cherry is all I get. Flavor is even worse. A bit of cola and some metallic sourness. I tried to choke this one down, but it found the drain after less than half a glass. Pretty awful stuff.
