50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dep orang to light brown. Huge light tan head. Aroma is mild roasted and wheaty towards a light banana estery note. Starts with a roasted and slight breadish flavour, goes into a solid banana fruity ester. Flat and estery finish.

Big coarseish beige uneven lasting head. Cloudy opaque brown body. Yeasty bananaish aroma with roasty peppery grassy notes. Faint bananaish taste with roasty grassy notes and some herbal traces. Sharp, fizzy mouthfeel. No real aftertaste, just goes empty. Nice, light, boring. (0.5l bottle, Sternbräu, Salzburg.)

0.5 l bottle from Spar in Semriach. It poured darker murky brown body with big brownish head. Very nice aroma, typical for this beer style, yeasty with banana and fruits on one side enriched with caramel and maybe some dark fruits...very nice. Flavor sweetish, pleasant, with some caramel and fruitiness. Creamy relatively full bodied, with not too much carbonation. Nice and very pleasant finish Very good beer.

Bottle. Cloudy brown colour with a big off-white head. Aroma of cloves, green fruit and yeast. Flavour of bananas, more cloves and elderflowers. Enjoyable and not too dissimilar from the Edelweiss Hefeweizen.

Purchased at some Spar in GrazPoured a murky brown colour with a huge thick white head that collapsed pretty fast. Nice and pretty strong aroma... bananas, lemon, cloves, maaaybe even some hop. The taste isn’t all that pronounced. Lime, faint banana, pleasant clovey yeastiness. I would enjoy it more if it was more assertive, but it’s still quite nice. Weak hoppy aftertaste. Overall, a very pleasant Dunkelweizen. As is the case with other Edelweiss beers, not too flashy, but tasty, light and enjoyable.
