Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear darker copper color with a finger of beige head that lingers. Aromas of clove, nutmeg, ginger and cinnamon dominate the nose. Palate shows more of the same spice flavors with toasted caramel, bready malt and light peppery notes. Balanced finish but leans dry with all the spice. Enjoyable spiced winter warmer.

Pour os a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is pungent cinnamon and ginger. Flavor is the same cinnamon and ginger but there is a odd plastic aftertaste. Started out ok but the odd aftertaste kind of ruined this.

Bottle at a share: pours copper with a white head. Aroma is nutmeg, ginger, general spiciness. Taste is super spicy. Not bitter. Not sour. Solid for what it is.

(Thanks, Jeremy! JStax) Bottle. A- Ginger, mild nutmeg. A- Ruby red color, clear liquid, beige head. T- Ginger, mild bitterness, malty, cinnamon. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- Tis the season to skip Thanksgiving and head for Christmas, so here we are in all our Holly Jolly. Ginger, honey and cinnamon are the main players in here and I would easily agree that they are all detectable and probably in that order. The ginger might overpower the rest of the spices a bit but it's still decent.

12 ounce bottle. Garnet colored pour. Small bubbly beige head. Malty nose hints at caramel and ginger. First sip yields caramel, ginger, cinnamon and honey. Peppery hop finish. Typical holiday fare.

Deep rich dark brown and copper coloured body with a bright ruby glow and a good two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of spices - canella, caradamom, cloves, allspice, nutmeg all are quite potent with a good dose of malts showing some toast and a smooth carameilsed sugar sweetness noticeable at the end. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong malty flavours with more spices than anything else, but quite a bit of sugars - fruit-based and some caramelised brown sugars and yeast all very noticeable. Aftertaste shows some bitterness from malts and earthy qualities, but the spices and pungent grain and yeast are pungent as well. Alcohol finishes this off with a bit of warmth, but not too overpowering - the spices are still the strongest notes. Overall, a nice and interesting beer that shows more of a traditional ale or an old Ale, with some extra added spices - very nice for the season and worth trying to find, especially if you like spicey beers. I sampled this stubby twelve ounce bottle given to me from James on my hockey team on 17-January-2018 purchased up in Cleveland, Ohio, sampled in my hotel room in Lexington Park, Maryland on 07-March-2018 - Thanks James!

On tap at Fat Head's Portland, pours a clear dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is huge on the spices, especially cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavour is the same, with not too much else going on here. Very spice-dominated. Good for what it is, but it's not my cup of tea (or beer).
