Draft @ Brewhaven. BBQ grill smoke and roasty malt aroma. Deep mahogany with a small tan head. Hardwood smoke, roasty coffee, and ashy flavor. Medium full creamy body, soft carbonation.

Draft. Chocolate fudge malt and light smoky wood aroma. Dark brown with small head. Sweet chocolate malt and lightly smoky bitter ash flavor. Very tasty.

tap on 4/25/14 - Pours near black with the smoke leading the aroma followed by the expected roast malt. The flavor features very assertive smoke along with roast malt and some coffee notes. The carbonation is gentle and it goes down easy. It all takes a back seat to the smoke. In this case that’s a good thing.
