Backlog May 2009. Reddish brown body under a dense beige head. Aroma has caramel malt and fruity banana, slightly acidic. Taste is a bit sweet & sour, but more on the sweeter side than sour. Malt, caramel and banana. Medium body with a bit short aftertaste.

Запах банановый со специями, есть немного патоки при этом, намека на легкие специи. Цвет темно карамельный, пенка есть но небольшая. Вкус на удивление очень питкий и сбаласнированный, как будто обычная пшеничка а не бок. Есть бананчик, но без особых дрожжей. При этом легкие специи и снова намеки на карамльку и ассоциации с патокой. При глотке карбонизация сбалансированная. В целом хорошо.

Bottle at home, courtesy of my boys. Mahogany pour with an offwhite heat. Nose is big banana esters and dark fruits, some toasted malt, bread, quite nice. Taste brings the same notes, maybe a touch less round and intense and the finish fades way too quick. The body is medium, carbonation matches it. Pretty nice all in all

Hazy dark brown colour, white creamy foam. Nose of banana, citrus, dried fruit. Sweet, yeasty, well balanced. Great Weissbier Bock.

500ml bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours deep ruby with a thick, fluffy light tan head. The aroma is sweet, but also spicy, slightly medicinal, clove rock, cola cubes, dried fruits, banana loaf, nutty, cacao nibs and hearty brown bread. The taste is initially firm and dry, medicinal, warming, herbal, splash of jager, clove, cola cubes, nutty, dusty, brown bread, banana bread, kick of booze, toothy, light tannin and wee chocolate bananas with a drying finish. Medium+ body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Nice depth of flavour. Robust and satisfying.

500ml bottle, online from Hereford Beer House. Pours unclear dark brown with a huge cream cap. Aroma: dried fruits, yeast, wheat & caramel. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, malty, dark fruits, yeast, wheat, caramel. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Nice!

Bottle picked up from Appel Getränkemarkt Moosburg and consumed at home Sunday 28th November 2021 listening to Idles - Crawlers in front of the fire 🔥. We have a homemade Goulash in the slow cooker. Pours opaque chestnut with a head that whilst initially Impressive lasted about 2 seconds before collapsing. Chocolate and banana combine with a wonderful softness, the wheatiness always present but also letting other flavour and aroma elements in on the act. This gets better and better, I must admit initially I wondered what all the fuss was about but it's a real grower.
