Bottle. This was not as good as I thought it would be. Aroma was grapefruit with a tad of the peel thrown in. The taste was hoppy but not in a pleasant way. Gold color, not much head.

From bottle to a tulip. Filled 03/11/2015. A: Pours a rich gold with an inch of craggy eggshell foam. A slight haze but maybe from chill. Average carbonation and very good head retention. Nice lacing also. S: Pronounced citrus aroma. Lemon/orange more than the expected grapefruit. No malt scent that I can discern but the beer is very cold. T: Taste is a sort of hollow lemon and toasted sourdough. Seems watery. Potential is there but disappointing actually. I know low ABV is an objective here, but this needs more malt body. A slight vegetal note becomes evident as it warms. Doesn’t help. M: Very light in body as expected with more carbonation than shows in appearance. Average. O: As much as I wanted to love this, I honestly can’t find much to recommend. This Ale looks good and smells delicious but the taste fails to live up to expectations.

Bottle. Light orange-caramel malt and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Lightly sweet orange malt and mildly bitter citrus peel flavor. Okay but pretty mundane.

Floral, peachy and slightly grapefruity hop with a touch of pale malt. Fairly bitter character, light pale and biscuity malt character. Lingering hop finish with a moreish touch of crackery malt. Pretty nice.

Clear pale amber color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Light-bodied with a mildly bitter citrusy hops character and notes of toasted malt and pine. The finish is crisp with a cedar wood and hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 ounce bottle from Lowes Foods in Hickory, NC. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized frothy offwhite head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of green, earthy and peppery hop notes with some pale malts. The taste is very much the same, though a little bit fainter on the malts. Thin-medium bodied. Decent beer.

12oz bottle pours clear deep gold with white head. The aroma is sweet sugary malts mixing with citrus hops and spicy hops. The flavor has crisp spicy hops supported by some tangelo and grapefruit citrus hops as well as mild levels of floral hops and sweet sugary maltiness. It gets mainly spicy hop bitterness and grapefruit into the finish with a pretty thin body to boot. Nice refreshing hoppy brew nonetheless. I like it.
