This collab with our local Hanwell Micropub, The Dodo, is a juicy, smashing, crowd-pleaser kind of beer. It's what we know the regulars like to drink because, well, we are some of those regulars.
Whether you are part of the Hanwell Massive or not, here's an easy-drinking DDH pale ale packed with oats for satisfying body and Simcoe, Mosaic & Citra hops for a ripe, peachy bite.

440ml can as part of a delivery from the Blue Boar and drunk at home. Very light yellow, almost straw, hazy with a massive but quickly dissipating white head. Slightly musty hop aroma with notes of lemon, grapefruit, apricot. Sweet taste light malt notes with light fruity bitterness. Heavy carbonation. It's a decent enough drink but instantly forgettable.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft, just today in fact. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a small, foamy white head. Fairly basic stuff, has some dried citrus peel, pale grains, nips of grass and pine. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with further grainy pale malts, lemon and tangerine rind, a little mango. Drinks fine.

Light haze on this gold beer, small and short lived white head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light and sweetish malts. A mild hop sting. Bitterish edge to the modest citric hop. Mild floral hop before a light and semi dry finish. Clean but not doing much for me.
