This collab with our local Hanwell Micropub, The Dodo, is a juicy, smashing, crowd-pleaser kind of beer. It's what we know the regulars like to drink because, well, we are some of those regulars.
Whether you are part of the Hanwell Massive or not, here's an easy-drinking DDH pale ale packed with oats for satisfying body and Simcoe, Mosaic & Citra hops for a ripe, peachy bite.

Draft glass @ Beerlovers Bar. Golden, decent creamy white head. Nose is bit thin grainy, duller orange, pine. Taste is fair but bit too thin grainy pain, hay, orange, bread, hay, bitter pineapple, hay,… Should be thicker & I expect more from Weird Beard.

Tap. Pours rather unclear, small white head. Smell is creamy, fruity hops, rather tropical. Fresh. Taste is sharp, bit bitter. Intensely fruity ( very tropical, pineapple,..) rather creamy body. Nice fruity ending. Bitterness doesn't really last. Nice apa, but perhaps a bit too hoppy for the style.

DraughtGood white-yellow head over hazy pineapplejuice-coloured beer. Bit of manure, asafoetida, dried (citrus)fruit, other grains, dry oatmeal cookies. Dryish, again other grains (rye?), and dried fruit as citrus, pineapple - without the (rest)sugars. Backthroat acidity. Dry, but enlivened by the carbonation, lean. OK, not very exciting.

Keg at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Hazy golden pour, white head. Apricot, orange flavoured boiled sweets, pineapple aroma. Taste of orange flavoured sweets, pineapple, vanilla. Interesting brew but I couldn't manage more than a couple of these.
