12oz black glass bottle pours with a copper body that has gold hues and supports a weak head of small bubbles. The aroma offers up apples, pears and a dash of corn mixed with slim chemical booze and floral hops. The taste starts sweet but not slick with apple-y and pear like sweet fruity esters mainly and at times it seems the above average carbonation somehow breaks up the sugary sweetness and the fruity esters. To midway I get a slight sense of malts and faint vague hoppiness that seem to feebly bubble to the surface. This isn’t too hateful but fits nicely into the style.

12oz bottle. Poured a fizzy yellow-orange color with a huge foamy white head - just looks like a macro factory beer. Smells slightly astringent, perhaps a bit light corn, with some very pale malt notes. Flavor was corn. As another rater said, I’d rather just drink MGD.

16 oz. tallboy, $1.49 at Casey’s, Ankeny IA. Slightly different, I;ll give it that. Pours a big fluffy head that leaves a slight bit of lace at the edges. Smell is that kind of sugary fusel ferment from those Lithuanian sugar-fermented malt likkers. Taste does at least introduce a thread of whiskey, but clearly, it’s a hint of whiskey blended in, instead of, say putting the beer in a whiskey barrel. At 6.9% abv, it should not as strong as a malt liquor, but I can feel that unpleasant sensation of a beer with too much heat. For all the craft brewers the big meganationals have bought out, they still won’t put their names on a really decent brew.

Clear fold 3 finger head. Very sweet, honey comb and caramel and toffee. Grainy rye and peach taste. Pretty Heartt in flavor and bitterness for the style. Interesting

24 oz. can, it’s a nice looking logo. Clear amber without head to speak of. Aroma is a light caramel malt and.
Flavor is lightly sweet overall, mostly caramel malt and light roasted grain. Mouthfeel does have a little bit of body. And I mean that in the nicest way, lighter side of medium. A lot more character then say, Olde English but.... Whatever.

Bottle at home. I don’t typically rate macro but chasing style ticks has lead me to these depths. Pours gold. Nose is corn, metal, and malt. Tastes of corny sweetness, malt, skunk, and maybe lemon. Pretty unpleasant and on,y got worse as it warmed.

On the bottom of the can, I see its stamped June 2, 14. I’m thinking that’s best buy.
I poured this into a pilsener glass.
The appearance was a nice light amber color with a two finger white foamy yet soapy head that rises a bit after the pour and then falls leaving some light foamy lacing. Strings of carbonation are seen rising.
The smell is super malty through corn-like and rice-like adjuncts.
The taste is sweet through those previously mentioned flavors. The aftertaste is sweet corn-like and rice-like adjuncts. There is no finish.
On the palate, it sits extremely light and shows a great sessionability aspect about it. The carbonation is extremely smooth.
Overall, American Malt Liquor or American Red/Amber Lager? Not really either one in my opinion, this is more of a Light Lager. Would I have this again? Probably not, however nice to tick it to see what Miller is up to these days.

Assumed this was pale yellow. Drank directly from a bottle. Is stronger than the typical pale lager. Not as refined I think. Yes, not a malt likker. Tries to approach a heller er somethin. Hah, listed as a malt liquor but its not as rude as that, perhaps a gag by RB? You know, this is not a paper bag thing, come on RB! Yes, seriously, more like a strong lager er sumthin. If the regular cheap lager guy drinks a few of these, he’ll be surprised. Could kick yer ass. Would not want to drink old bottles of this, heheh. I got to check out the price per 24 twelve oz cans of this at my local distributor. Got to be $20 easy.
