Draught as Knoblach Bock @'t Kelkje, Amsterdam. Clear pale amber colour, good frothy white head, slowly dissipating, light lacing. Aroma toasted malt, grain, light caramel, biscuit, herbal hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, hint of alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, easy to drink, very nice.

Copper with a white head. Toasted malts, light caramel, earth, mineral, a touch of dark malts. Medium to full body. Has a bit of booze in the dry finish. Decent.

Tap. Craft Beer Corner, Cologne. Clear medium gold. Slightly broken just off white lasting head. Taste is sweet and caramel like. Some charred pith bitterness. Drinks easy enough for the ABV. Maybe a little flabby. Feels over 7% actually. Bitter finish. Ok. Skewed.

Tap at BeerGeek. Med-thin body, medium carbonation. Medium bitterness, med-light sweetness. Does not feel entirely clean, light DMS going on, as well as diacetyl and rotten autolysis-like thing, not very much, but light is enough. Poor drinkability, average at best. The base beer seems pretty elegant, with rather light and nuanced malty character, is covered by off notes though. Pretty rare occurence in BeerGeek.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Puotila, 20241215) The beer poured deep golden and lightly hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, grass, grain and mildly alcohols. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, honey, light sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. Pleasant.

Pours dark golden to light amber, perfectly transparent. Good sized white head, relatively quick to recede, little lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: cerealy malts with a hint of white bread, a touch of honey, relatively vivid (per style) herbal/grassy hops, apple-like fruitiness and a light warming feel. Decent definition. Taste notes follow the aroma closely. Average intensity, ok definition. Medium to high sweetness, medium bitterness, a bit on the sweet side in the mouth with a light warming feeling, well balanced in finish/aftertaste with a hint of floral hoppiness. Medium bodied with light to medium carbonation, slightly on the oily side for the abv with an overall quite smooth and easy mouthfeel. Very much fine, not impressive to me.

Keg @ Pikkulintu Myyrmäki. As Schammelsdorfer Hell Poured clear and golden in color. Grainy, malty, almost dusty. Crisp and very drinkable Heller bock. Light breadyness.
