Light hazy dark golden colour, white foam. Nose of caramel, some honey, bready, malty, light bitter hoppy finish. Complex and well balanced bock. Great! Thanks Frank!

500ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, golden colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, pale malty and slightly floral and fruity aroma, hints of floral honey, a touch of mirabelle, apricot, brioche. Taste is pale malty, rather dry and bitter, minimally floral and fruity hoppy, hints of floral honey, subtle residual sweetness, a touch of mirabelle, apricot. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth, soft and silky palate, fine, soft but efficacious carbonation. Well crafted, very clean, mild, balanced and harmonious, relatively hoppy - very good.

Bottle procured at HopDog. Pours clear reddish gold with a nice off-white head. Clear grain nose, freshly cut grass and hints of medium caramel. The flavor is rounded, clean, fresh field malt notes fading into smooth herbal-earthy hop aftertaste that easily balances the remaining sugars. Great Bock.

A bit hazy light orange color, healthy fluffy head. Lightly malty, sweet, smooth, a bit boozy. Nice.

Had this as Knoblach Stammberg-Bock. Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Spicy aroma. Starts strong-malty, spicy, some herbal notes as well. Finish spicy-malty, light alcoholic. Interesting one!

Many thanks to Stefan in the 1st local German swap. Grainy sweetish nose. The beer starts fruity neutral. Not too deep, refreshing with a soft and slightly grainy back. Malty grainy, smooth sweetish with a sweetish grainy finish. Nice sessionable Bock.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas cheers Jonas. I had this Saturday 30th November 2019 whilst preparing Souvlaki and also Tiropita and listening to Aldous Harding - Designer. Pours dark gold/light amber with a clean, nice sized white head. Good solid malty beer that belies its strength. I guess there is a little intermingling between toffee and fruit, but otherwise it's just a great malty uncomplicated beer that you could drink all day or at least until you fall over.

Fläschla: Clear, deep golden coloured, small and slowly collapsing loose white head, moderate sweet/bitter honeyish and malty nose with herbal-woody hops in the background; almost solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; lingering and a bit drier “leafy” and herbal-hoppy finish with a solid sweet-malty base. A pleasant sip for cold days…
