Bottled 500ml. -at Café Abseits Bamberg as Stammberg Bock. Clear dark golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, weak malty and whiff of alcohol in the nose. Sweet malty, grainy, light herbal hoppy and noticable alcohol with dry sweetish finish. Good one.

Draught (Cafe Abseits, Bamberg) - Darkish amber in colour. Bready and slightly biscuity aroma with notes of dried apricot and sultanas. Dried apricot, rye, sultanas and caramel all feature in the very clean taste. Very easy to drink.

Tap. Slightly hazy deep amber color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is sweet malts, caramel, earthy, juicy fruits, honey. Taste is buttered caramel, toffee, fudge, honey, good grassy hop counterpoint as well. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Very good hoppy Bock! 7-5-7-4-15Fresh bottle. Very juicy hops. Extremely quaffable, hard to believe this is a bock. 7-5-8-4-16

Flasche (Knoblach „Helles Bockbier“, 7,1 %) aus dem Landbierparadies-Getränkemarkt, Nürnberg. - Sattes Bernsteingelb, klar.

Bottle from Hopfen & Malz, Berlin at 7.1% ABV. Deep gold with a small, yet tight, off-white, head. Aroma of tangerine fruits and leafy hops. Flavour had a touch of sweetish fruit upfront, rich maltiness and a dryish finish, with some lingering booziness. Very good.
