Das als Kerwasfestbier bekannte Export erfreut mit einem sanften aber malzigen Trunk, der perfekt durch eine leichte Bittere mit feinem Hopfenaroma abgrundet ist. Der sorgfältig ausgewählte Hopfen kommt aus dem Hallertauer und Spalter Hopfenanbaugebiet. Charakteristisch ist die strohgelbe Farbe, die Lust auf Sommer und Sonne macht.

Heller, etwas karamelliger Malzbegin. Deutliche Herbe, süßlich, mild hopfig. Wenig bitter, im Mittelteil dumpf werdend, trockenes Finish. 9/8/10/9/8/9

50cl bottle. A clear dark golden beer with a off-white head. Aroma of mild biscuit malt, some spicy hops. Taste of mid sweet biscuit malt, spicy hops, pale malt. Moderate bitterness.

Huppendorfer Bier Export, Flasche von REWE, Staffelstein. - Lichtes Kupfergold, blank. - In der Nase milde orangenfruchtige Hopfung, eingebettet in warmes, fein karamelliges und bonbonsüßes Malz, leicht unpassende Butter, ein wenig Honig. - Antrunk vollmundig und sauber gerstig-malzig mit feinen toastigen Zügen und schöner Malzsüße. Dezente aber hintergründige orangenfruchtige und herbale Hopfung mit leichten mediterranen Zügen. Zarte buttrige oder bananige Noten, noch nicht störend. Milder rezent, angenehm mineralisch. Im Abgang gediegene hopfenwürzige Herbe, zart pfeffrig. - Ausgezeichnetes Export mit nur wenig fülligerem, sauber gerstigem Malzkörper und hintergründiger fränkischer Hopfung, dem eine leichte Altersnote einen besonderen Reiz verleiht. 500ml Bottle - Golden/light amber with a white head. Bread, rye and marmalade in the aroma. Quite nicely balanced taste with a bready maltiness and some grassy and citrussy notes from the hops.

[Bamberg 2018] 500 ml. draft @ Der Pelikan. Amber orange, super creamy thick white head. Nose is nicely fruity, flower, grass, faint butter but doesn’t bother too much. Oily sweetish bitter in the back with perfume, hay & grass, touch buttery but overall quite solid.

Clear golden. Aroma is old hops, sticky hops, some old cloth, slightly overdue bread. Taste is slight sweet berries with some metallic iron and malt. A bit oxidized. Meh.

Bottle. deep golden, offwhite head. Spicy doughy malt, light offflawors, herbal hops. Medium to light mellow body. light spice, cake, edgy herbs, a hint doughy, herb and grass finish.

Bottle. Clear amber color with white head. Aroma is grainy, strawy, earthy, a touch vegetal even. Taste is lightly metallic, straw, caramel. Silky mouthfeel with soft carbonation. By far not the best of Huppendorfer I'm afraid.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and minimally off-white foamy head. Strawy malty nose with grainy notes and a slightly alcoholic touch. Sweet and delicately bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Strawy malt character with lighter grainy notes; quite sweet and stale malty finish, Rather disappoing. 29.VIII.18
