This wheat kicks ass and takes names! Strong, fresh, aggressive American hops smack your face, but you want more. Intense citrus, spicy hop and wheat malt flavors erupt yet finish amazingly smooth. The Eville will grow in you!

On tap at Carson's, pours a hazy golden with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is very bitter and metallic, with stale notes, unpleasant bitter hops and metallic character. This is really unpleasant - needs total rejigging.

Thanks to M. for bringing this back from the States. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a soapy head, decent retention and lacing. Hoppy nose with a mix of herbal and citrus, over caramel malts. The taste is pretty much the same with some good bitterness and dryness in the finish. Not too sure about the wheat part ?? Hints of coconut and wax in the aftertaste. Again, these hoppy beers take away from the original base recipes. 25 IBU, really ?!?

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a nice pineapple fruit with some fresh evergreen in there. Flavor is more of a wintergreen fresh minty hop with some chalky malt in the back round. Finish is more of the minty pine hop with s super dry malt. I really liked this beer out of the can. A different hop profile with some subtle dry wheat malt.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Aroma is citrus hops, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is citrus hops, caramel malt, and herbal hops. Pretty mild, not quite like the commercial description.

Bottle. Deep golden body. Frothy white head, diminishing. Aroma of toasted grain, mild citrus and resin. Orange, lemon. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A bit Gumballhead like with the citrus and hops. Not as well put together as that, but the best of the Carson beers I’ve tried.

Bottle: Slightly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Orange and pineapple aroma. Taste is the same, plus a slight bitter of orange peel and pine. Rather more of an APA, but,,,whatever... It’s very good.
