Foamy white head on an unclear pale amber coloured body. Pale malt, grain & cigarette aroma. Medium bodied, smooth foamy & cloying. Bready, light malt, cereal & fruity tastes with a peppery finish. Nice enough.

Draught @ Giesinger Bräu Stehhausschank, Munich. Sweetish and grassy with some hay and earthiness. A bit stuffy but crushable.

Bottle online from Beer Merchants. Pours a hazy light golden/straw colour with a medium sized dissipating bubbly white head. Aromas of sweet grains, hay, white bread and a touch of lemon. Taste has light grains and lemon, a touch sour with herbal tones and some peppery spice. Some light earthy hops clinging to the palate on the finish. Thin body and slightly fizzy watery mouthfeel. I have tried a few of the Giesinger range now and this is one of my least favourites. Ok but nothing more.

500ml bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours ever so lightly hazy bright yellow - gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, doughy white bread, rich tea biscuit, custard creams, cereal, grassy and grainy. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, bitter - sweet, doughy white bready, rich tea biscuit, custard creams, grassy, straw and a touch of spice with a soft, bready finish. Average body and fine, fizzy carbonation. Interesting and stands out from the lager crowd.

Tap at Stadtgasthaus Bielefeld. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Rather weak, grainy and minimally strawy, pale malty aroma, whiffs of lemon. Taste is minimally tart-ish, grainy and strawy, pale malty, minimally citrusy fruity hoppy, a touch of lemon, light malty spiciness, very subtle sweetness. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft ,mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively clean, light, drinkable - OK.

Tap at Giesinger in the garden, 5th May 2022. Pours a hazy yellow orange. Aroma is yeasty with citrus. Taste is malty, sweaty yeast, biscuit and grains. Refreshing and good complexity, I like it

Bottle, 500 ml at Ambasada, Zagreb. Cloudy golden with medium white head. Malty, bit yeasty, smooth. Bitterish finish. Easy going.
