May ’15. On tap at the brewpub. It poured hazy yellow body with medium sized head. Weak aroma, a bit boring homebrew yeast and grain. Flavor lightly bitter, chalky, bread/grain malt. Rather fine. Medium to thin bodied with long finish. Okay, a tad too yeasty, but decent.

Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Hellgelb, leicht trüb. - In der Nase süßlich-karamelliges Malz, Hefe und nur schwache aber angenehme, mild fruchtige Hopfennoten: reifes Obst, Anklänge an Banane. - Antrunk sehr mild und weich orangenfruchtig-hopfig. Mild karamelliges helles Malz. Durchschnittlich rezent, weich, süffig. Im Abgang arg mild, um nicht zu sagen schwach. Sehr dezenter, fast etwas leerer Nachtrunk, schwach kalkig. - Angenehm zu trinken aber für ein Kellerbier deutlich zu schwach gehopft.

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is a bit yeasty, sweet malts, earthy hops. Taste is the same, silky mouthfeel, quite the bitter finish. Well-balanced, drinkable, but really not great. 5-3-5-3-11 Served from the tank at the Stehausschank. Now this is much, much nicer than the bottles. Sulphuric young Zwickel smell, accompanied by bready notes and an underlying Munich-typical malt sweetness. Silky mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Good! 7-4-6-3-14.

Keg at the ’new’ brewpub, Munchen, 05/02/15. Clear golden with a decent white head that retains well. Nose is pale malt, straw, clean, grain, light citrus peel. Taste comprises light caramel, vanilla, pale malt, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok helles.

On tap at the Brewpub. Fast klare dunkel goldgelbe Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig getreidig. Geschmack malzig, leicht grasig, getreidig, hopfig, etwas schwach, aber gut trinkbar.Earlier Rating: 3/14/2014 Total Score: 2.8Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlichem Schaum. Geruch malzig, hopfig, grasig. Geschmack hopfig grasig, malzig, leicht würzig.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Giesinger Untergiesinger Erhellung ].[ Trade by Beerhunter111 ]. Unclear medium orange yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, pale malt, fruity malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, nectar - flowers, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140906]
