Pater Lieven wit is een witbier op basis van gerstemout, tarwe en haver. Zijn bleke en troebele uitzicht dankt het aan die twee laatste graansoorten. Koriander en sinaasappelschil bezorgen het bier een aangenaam fruitig en dorstlessend karakter. Pater Lieven wit is een levend witbier, dat nog levende gistcellen bevat.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours orange gold, partially hazy, with Aroma isestery and floral, some honey too. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is well balanced, moderate in bitterness. Final is on the dry side.

Smell-weak malt, banana, faint yeast, wheat. Foam- thin, weak wheat. Head is large, white. Sticks a bit. Appearance- generic orange bottle cap, simple label. but a bit interesting. Clear at the start, sedimenty and hazy later yellow color, medium carbonation. From - weizen glass Taste- malt, yeast, faint wheat, faint citrus, faint bitter tones. Feels watery. Nothing special.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine media persistenza, colore giallo smorto velato, al naso subito coriandolo poi scorza d’arancio leggero banana e spezie, in bocca è fruttata agrumata lime coriandolo spezie frumento, corpo leggero, carbonazione moderata, amaro leggero. Bella aromatica e rinfrescante. Molto buona. c. Cantina della birra 16.01.22

17/01/2019 @home - 33cl bottle from the lottery @Bles Bierhappening 2018. Clear straw yellow, huge white head. Nose and taste : bit malts, wheat, lemon, spice, all in moderate amounts, so notthing outspoken but nevertheless it was pleasant to drink.

Il gusto al naso propende per il frumento e lo speziato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul tetto della bocca si depositano impressioni di miele, frumento, agrumi, coriandolo e spezie.

330 ml. bottle. BBF 06/06/2020. Pale citrus sparkling, disappearing big white big bubble white head. Nose is fake lemon, thin, aloe vera, fizzy, fancy hand soap & beer coriander. Fizzy thin. Lemon, citrus, lemonade, ginger lemonade, fizzy artificial ginger, chemical, still decent for what it is and what it should be, overall it is okay, too fizzy & bit too thin.

Shared bottle at home. Pours cloudy light golden with big white head. Aroma of coriander and oranges with some malty notes. Tastes slightly sweet with little bitterness. Thin to medium bodied. Highly carbonated, smooth mouth feel, sweet finish.
