Bottle, 0.33l. Thick black pour with one finger creamy beige head. Average retention. Beautiful lacing on the glass. Rich on the nose, robust and roasty, loaded with coffee and dark chocolate notes. Full body with just the right amount of carbonation. Soft, but lively. Thick texture and creamy mouthfeel. Roasty bittersweet taste with a touch of alcohol. Robust and intense, rich in aroma. Malts, roasted and caramel, chocolate and cocoa. Coffee. Plums and raisins, slightly woody. Touch of liquor, well balanced. Sticky mouthfeel. Alcohol well hidden in the taste, but nicely warming and hits in the head. Beautifully balanced. Absolutely delicious imperial stout. Poetry in a bottle.

Medium beige head quickly dissapearing. Aroma of sweet chocolate, coffee, caramel, licorice, nuts. Flavour is semi sweet, full of chocolate, coffee, licorice, caramel. Body is medium, carbonation is perfect. Alcohol well hidden. Bitter is coffee, rather low but perfectly fill overall feelings. Very very tasty Imperial Stout.

Peaty as fuck. Meant to be sipped like a whiskey. Literally scotch flavored beer.

Hiermee begon de liefde voor stouts. 2x 75cl mee naar een proeverij en met 3 man opgedronken want de rest vond het niks.

An appropriate beer for my 666th rating :)
330ml bottle (bottled 03-10-2014 / BB 03-10-2039). Pours jet black with a thin brown head disappearing immediately. Aroma: chocolate, vanilla, raisins. Taste: roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, raisins/dried fruits/berries, liquorice. Initially sweet finishing with bitterness, alcohol is well integrated and warming. Lovely smooth mouthfeel, full bodied, low carbonation. Incredible beer, an instant favourite.

Picike, gyorsan elillanó hab, fekete szín. Csokis, enyhén kávés illat, aszalt gyümölcsös felhangokkal. Csokis, pörkölt malátás, kakaóporos ízvilág, aszalt gyümölcsös, fűszeres aromákkal, némi karamellel. Testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen kesernyés. Nagyon finom, jól eltalált desszertsör.

0.33 l bottle from ’Bierkompass’, bottled in October 2014. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, praline, light coffee, some hazelnut and hints of dark ripe fruits. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty taste of milk chocolate, praline, coffee, some licorice, toasted nuts and a touch of dark ripe fruits, followed by a very long, rather roasty-bitter finish. Full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Delicious! Perfectly balanced, intense flavours, great mouthfeel, just not overly complex.

Tasting at Višnja 666’ place, shared with her, Matea and Goran. Thanks Višnja! Dark brown, medium tan head. Leather, licorice, ash, roast, smoke, chocolate aromas. Dry turning to light sweet. Very thick, sticky, dry finish. Very good one, very full body.
