According to Montana legend, deep in the expanse of the Bob Marshal Wilderness there lives a small band of rugged and ferocious.... Chihuahuas. Bobo is the packs’ Alpha Male, and in a word he is ROBUST. So naturally we thought he deserved his own delicous Robust Porter.

Thanks Frank.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a black color with a finger’s worth of off white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Sly messy lace.
The aroma had some roasted coffee beans, subtle grounds, light wood, some earthiness, dried leaf, some hay and just a touch of vanilla at the very end.
The flavor was roasty and sweet combining it all fairly nice and added a touch of clean caramel malt. Aftertaste slightly leaned closer to the roastiness. Finish was somewhat dry and roasty.
The palate was almost medium bodied, sitting just a tad under and having a decent sessionable sort of smooth feel along my tongue. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty nice porter that I could have again.

Deep and dark, semi sweet chocolate and roast grains. Thick brown foamy head. Aroma is soft and sweet, taste brings the bitterness, and lingers on the palate, like melted chocolate. A keeper.

Bottle - black, fizzy pour, kind of looking like cola - aroma of cocoa, tobacco, light smoke, earth/mushroom, prune, light mineral - texture is a little watery, but the flavor is pretty good - moderate chocolate sweetness, with a balancing bright acidity that washes through the middle - a touch of earthy English ale yeast - finish is lightly bitter, with a touch of Burton-ish bite - pretty true to style robust porter - nice beer.
