Years ago whistles pierced the air and the ground literally shook from the power steam. The Monon Railroad helped propel Indiana’s economy from 1897-1956 and earned its name from the convergence of its four main routes in Monon, Indiana. From Monon, the mainlines reached Chigago, Louisville, Indianapolis, Michigan City and most towns in between.
Our refreshing Belgian style Wit beer is powered by the memories of the Monon and brewed with lemon peel, orange peel, and coriander for a crisp, tart finish. For an extremely refreshing and drinkable beer, hard working cutters say "All Aboard!" the Monon.

Draft. Cloudy yellow body. Fizzy, white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon, coriander, floral hops, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly to moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Tart finish with a grainy aftertaste. Disjointed.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of queenholly. Weizen glass displays a lightly cloundy yellow color with just the tiniest ring of white head. No lace. This brew has a nice citrus aroma filled with orange and lemon along with a trace of coriander. The flavor is spot on the aromas with the flavor being rather pleasant. Palate is light and crisp with a dry texture. Overall, this is pleasant and real easy to drink. A bit above average, I would recommend to any Wit beer lovers who live in Indiana.

tap at Ft Wayne OktoBeerfest - Pours hazy yellow and smells of citrus with a hint of spice. It tastes fruity and sweet with some good wheat character. It’s a light and refreshing beer, nothing to get excited about, but it works okay.

Bottle. Musty lemon malt and coriander aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with nice white head and moderate effervescence. Lightly sweet lemon malt and mild musty flavor. Body on the light side. Very nice. As a cutter (at least by reputation but not occupation), I was happy that this was so good.
