On tap at Flat12 Bierwerks, pours a clear golden blonde with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out moderate piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with crisp crackery malt and piney hops. Bitter but nicely done.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is dank and citrus. Medium body, dank, grapefruit, lingering bitterness, very good.

Bottle. Ridiculous pour... simply unacceptable to have an entire glass of foam with no liquid on an APA. When the dust settles (I’m at the ten minute mark now) there is a thin layer of fairly clear gold at the bottom of six or seven inches of foam. Aromas are OK, but subdued. A little bit of grain dust and tropical fruit are about all I pick up. Surprisingly, the flavor is not of infected beer, but it is a kind of muted APA with Galaxy hops. I have to wonder whether this would have stronger hop punch with less carbonation. It’s an alright beer I guess, but a little annoying and I would like to try it again without the carbonation issues.

12 oz. bottle from a trade with Fletche00. Pours a hazy caramel color with a big, pillowy, cream colored head, and good lacing. The first thing on the nose is massive grapefruit, followed by some butterscotch, pine sap, and light resin. The flavor is sweet and juicy up front, with an aggressive hop bitterness in the finish. The bitterness lingers in the aftertaste, tapering off to a light sourness. Medium to heavy body, sticky, and chewy. Overall, this is a big, thick beer, especially given the ABV. The hop aroma is brilliant, but the bitterness is a little off-putting. Still, this is an very good pale ale.

Draft. From notes. Loads of citrus and caramel. Very good. I would gladly drink this again.

the bottle opens with a big whoosh as I lift the cap. A clear gold beer slowly assembles at the bottom of the glass as the tall, white head dissipates. The aroma is sweet and fruity, I’m almost smelling apple here. The flavor is bitter with good malt balance, but definitely on the bitter side.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of queenholly. Color shows are orange/gold hazy with lots of carbonation. Nose is lots of fruit, mostly peach with biscuit malts. Really nice aroma. Juicy tropical fruit, notes of bitter grapefruit and mango. Balanced nice with just the right amount of malt. I love that the brewers went with featuring the Galaxy hop. Very juicy and I can tell this is a fresh bottle. The hop is alive and only lightly bitter in the finish. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation. Highly drinkable pale ale. Nicely done.

Tap at Three Fires. Fresh floral and orange hops, toffee malt aroma. Clear gold with a small white head. Toffee malt, fresh fruity hops flavor. Medium body and carbonation. Very nice, easy drinking beer.

Draft. Clear amber body with a fizzy, off-white head. Aroma of raw, leafy hops, toasted grain, resin, grapefruit. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Tastes of citrus, fruit, grapefruit and orange. Some unrefined, raw grain drags it down a little.
