With it’s complex herbal aroma, golden cloudy color, orange-citrusy fruitiness, and spicy flavor, our Belgian style wit beer is sure to satisfy. Contains wheat malt, spicy hops, orange peels, fresh coriander, and lemon zest. Best served at 58ºF in a tall pilsner glass with a slice of orange.

Bottle: Pours dark amber-gold with a tall, vanilla-white head. Lemon, banana, wheat aroma. Taste is wheat malt, citrus, yeast, orange malt. Ok...but very lifeless...... No brightness or zing anywhere in this one.

bottle - Hazy, straw color, has a mild aroma that’s yeasty with some wheat. The flavor is sweet with spice and a touch of citrus. Light bodied and refreshing, it’s okay but nothing to seek out.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of some generous trader. Pours a cloudy, dark yellow orange appearance with a fluffy, off-white head. Bready, herbal spicy, dull orange peel, a touch zesty nose. A bit dull, wheat malty, slightly chewy, somewhat spicy/zesty, mild coriander flavor. Alright but nothing special.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours rich orange that fades to deep golden top and bottom with small white head. Good lacing, well carbonated, and citrus aroma. Taste is orange, lemon, and some coriander. Good rich flavor.

Bottle. Sour lemon/orange and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with nice big head. Sweet-tart lemon and light wheat malt flavor. Very light body. Okay but not much to it.

My bottle says wit ale but there is very little, if any, rude ale in this brew. From the twist off cap start to the finsh a very good experience. Nice tubby bottle pours without an issue, very nice. Smell is a little tart. Taste is unique and nice, lovely actually. Sour wild beer ecfects that are just so pleasant. Really nice CO2 and a certainty that this is wit beer, though not really its color. Very nice tartness that comes across almost like a sour soda, yeah! Glad I got to try this one! Would not hesitate to purchase again.

12 ounce bottle from a sampler from Belmont Party Supply. Pours a murky orange color with a thin fizzy white head that fades quickly. Aroma of citrus, floral notes, nutty notes and a spicy finish. The taste is VERY tart citrus, some apples. Overly tart. Medium bodied with high carbonation. Wasn’t expecting that.

Sample at the 1st annual Columbus Beerfest on 05/28/10: Pours a cloudy yellow color with a thin and wispy white head that disappears fairly quickly. Light spiced aroma with notes of citrus and a touch of skunk. Light body with flavors of sweet spice, yeast and slightly sour fruit. The finish is fruity with a short spiced aftertaste. Overall this one didn’t do much for me.
