From a 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Aroma is grassy with some tropical fruit notes. Flavor is intensely bitter citrus zest. Lingering bitter finish.

tap at the brewery - Pours copper colored with a caramel malt and hop aroma and some good lacing. The flavor is a typical pale ale with moderately strong hops, a touch of citrus, and caramel accented malt. It’s medium bodied and just a straightforward APA.

Sample from growler at Chicago Beer Society meeting & Randy Mosher birthday party, Dec. 1. Beer pours cloudy looking, but I was pleased to find it’s not yeasty tasting (I’ve had too many brewpub offerings lately that seemed full of trub). Offers a plain, straightforward bouquet of those Centennials and Cascades, with, I suspect, a hint of Amarillo. In other words, unless you really like hops, the unmistakable twang of cat dander. So most folks will love it or lump it.
