Bottlw shared at home. Pours copper with off white head. Nose is resinous hops, sweet booze, caramel, nuts. Taste is warming, sweet booze, some honey, caramel and bitterish hops. Medium to heavy body, soft to average carbo. Pretty much like a bw/strong ale, but quite tasty nevertheless.

Bottle from the LCBO. Dark copper pour, with a large off white head. Aroma is a bast of thick, sticky, syrupy malts. Caramel, toffee, and sticky, dank pine resins abound. The malt bill on this must be massive. This is a true old school DIPA. Just a sticky glass of high octane malty pine juice. fantastic, i loved it.

500ml bottle - Pours a coppery amber colour with a small frothy beige head. The aroma is caramel malts, dark dried fruit, orange peel, resiny hops and a little pine. A sweetish taste, sweet malts, caramel, dark fruit, bitter oranges and spicy flavours with pine and resiny hops in a warming and bitter finish.

Bottle, 0.50l, shared with Saska and Tomaz. Aroma of caramel, wood, dried fruit, flowers and pine. Pours clear brown color with thin creamy tan-like head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with sweet caramel and dried fruit, following is herbal, woody and peppery, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic and mild spicy, while finish is heavy bitter. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Heavy armor…

Bottled. Amber colour with a mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is floral, some sweet malts, mild alcohol along with strong nectary tones. Flavour is somewhat bitter with a nice floral and nectary sweetness to it, without forgetting the malts either. Nicely in balance, but feels like it's lacking something.

(Bottle) Brownish red colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, hoppy nose with treacle-toffee, dried fruit, dates, caramel, dark bread, orange peel, resin, port wine and nuts. Malty, sweet taste with notes of brown sugar, dried fruit, dates, figs, caramel, dark bread, orange peel, butterscotch, resin, nuts, Madeira wine and a balanced resiny/spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, sweet. Good hop presence, solid malt profile, lots of dried fruit and vinous notes of fortified wine. Complex. Very nice.

0,5 bottle. The packaging is beautiful. The beer is even more beautiful. Classic perfect amber color, nice thick creamy yellowish-white foam. The foam remains thin, but when stirred with your fingers it forms wonderfully. Very beautiful. The aroma is raisin, cognac, dried fruit, plum, appropriately intense. If you let it warm up, it becomes even more intense. Serious body, serious, dense sip. Almost no carbonation. The alcohol is felt all the way down our esophagus. Still not disturbing. Serious full-bodied dessert beer. I wouldn't really call it an IPA, for me it's more of a barely-wine. An adventure all evening, don't plan many programs afterwards :) Its lack of carbonation shouldn't bother anyone. If there were more to this, you'd immediately be shocked :) I think it's an underrated beer, an almost perfect blend of lots of delicious malt and lots of hops. Outstanding! It got a "less" point because it's not as bitter as you'd expect from an IPA. Because it's almost not bitter at all. :)

Gyönyörű a kiszerelés. :)

Kicsi, gyorsan elillanó hab, vörösbe hajló barna szín. Édeskés, gyümölcsös, karamelles, ananászos, enyhén cseresznyés illat, komoly fűszeres vonásokkal. Édes, karamelles, ananászos, fűszeres ízek, némi pirosgyümölcsös és gyantás aromákkal. Testes, közepesen szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Finom, markáns ízvilággal rendelkező jól összerakott sör.
