Canned 330ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Brownish coloured, medium sized beige head, caramel in the nose. Toasted malt, caramel, nutty, bready and mild dried fruits with dusty finish. Alcohol hidden.

aus einer Bestellung von Beerfreak Ein durchaus wohlgelungener Bock 🐏, der nicht zu brutal 🧌 alkoholisch oder süß ist. Er lässt sich gut trinken und hat doch typische süße Aromen, ohne es zu übertreiben. Kein Bier für alle Tage, aber als Feierabenderheller passt er sehr gut.

33cl can (BBF: 29/01/26) from Rob the Gourmets’ Market in Brussels. F: medium, tanned, average retention. C: dark brown, opaque. A: plums, berries, chocolate, caramel. T: full malty base, berries, honey, bit coffee, toffee, nutty, medium carbonation, very nice with fruity twist for the style, enjoyed for sure.

Appearance is murky and muddy mahogany, with a beige fizzy head. Aroma- malts, bread, nutty malt, dark fruit, caramel, raisiny fruit. Taste is dark fruit, caramel, nutty malt, earthy notes, fruitcake, hint of milk chocolate and marzipan. Malty bready finish. Nice and fulsome.

Can from HavnensVinOgTobak. Pours clear dark reddish brown with large off-white head. Aroma is intense malt, caramel, toffee, syrup, roasted hazelnuts and grain. Taste is very sweet, light to medium bitter and faint acidic. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with intense notes of malt, caramel, toffee, syrup, nuts and hints of gravy. Very nice and very well balanced.

330ml bottle from Tap and Can. Pours a deep hazed brown, off-white head. Strong toffee nose, continuing to taste.. perhaps too much for a doppel, coming across more like an aged Old Ale in feel. Bit confused really, not sure it knows what it's supposed to be. Ok-ish overall.
