Black with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of raspberry juice, chocolate and roasted malt. Sweetish roasted flavour with chocolate and raspberry. We'll made, but it quickly becomes too much

25th October 2021. Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie; 5 guys splitting beers and talking bollox, great fun. Cheers Simon for this 500ml bottle; BB 31st October 2022. Raspberries and Plums ruled the nose and taste of this heavy hitter. Tanned head on a dark brown body, looked fine. Interesting brew that I enjoyed even though it had a mini-sourness within it's flavours.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 21. Thanks Simon for this one. Pours dark, foamy tan head. Aroma bears a noticeable raspberry jelly sweetness nestled amongst roasted malt. Nicely presented raspberry porter overall, smooth raspberry influence, good bitterness. Quite enjoyable.

Smell is full, roasty, tad fruity ( rather hidden ) . taste is full, tad fruity, recognizable raspberry ( becomes quite intense later on ) , nice roasty back. Pretty good !

Aroma: pretty smoky, malty, caramel, sweetish, not much else but smoke going on here. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: oxidized, smoky, sugary, lots of overripe banana, weird, yeasty, not very good.
