A play on the word honey, kochanie is Polish for "my love" or "my sweet". This tart mead is made with the highest quality Polish red currants and Lutowka cherries and balances beautifully with the sweet floral aroma of orange blossom honey.

Pours very dark red. Smell is full, cherry, intense. Taste is full, intense , cherries. Sweet, honey backbone. Nice, but a bit simplystic perhaps.

375ml bottle thanks to torrey pours out purple pink color. Nose is great big sweet honey cherries currants tart touch. Taste is more of the nice sweet honey tart cherries currants, another treat.

Bottle at share.Purple flat pour, looks liek cranberry juice.Aroma is honey with cherries. Taste brings a flavor currants, with a little cherry behind, all wrapped up in the honey sweetness. Very smooth.

Amazing! Tart/tangy cherry/cranberry/redcurrant/grape/raisin/plum/skin/pit/honey/brown sugar; lt vanilla/toffee/cocoa/spice. Sweet/full body. Lt acid/tang/tannic drying. No cloying. Mild warmth. Dangerously smooth.

Sampled from the tap at the meadary. Pours a clear deep red with no head whatsoever. Aroma has sweet currants with sweet honey supporting. Flavor combines dry and sweet honey with a decent amount of red currant.
