As one of the United States’ top blueberry producers, Oregon is home to some of the best blueberries grown anywhere in the world. We work directly with local growers to select only the finest, most ripe fruit of the season to create one of our staple Northwest sour ales. Blueberry features a blend of sour triple and blond ales aged in Pinot Noir barrels for up to two years with fresh blueberries proudly grown right here in Oregon’s bountiful Willamette Valley.

Pours dark red with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, tart, funk, berry and blueberries. Taste is light sweet and medium sour with a long dry, tart, funky and berry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Backlog. Deep, clear, purple with almost no head. Lots of blueberry, blackberry, some earthy and woody character to it. Lightly bitter towards the finish. Very dry and tart.

Fat på MBCC 2017. Vintage 2016. Smak och doft av blåbär, björnbär, jordkällare, blåbärssoppa, mögel, halm, jord. Fina aromer i elegant balans, fin kropp och sötma, god beska. Mycket bra!

Version mit 8,19% vom Fass im Muted Horn Berlin 2017-07 getrunken. Diese Faßgelagerte Ale kommt mit fetten dunklen Beerennoten daher. Merkwürdig aber eher spannend war der Duft von Plastik eines Kinder-Swimming Pool.

Tap@MBCC May 2017, Copenhagen - pours deep red with a pinkish white head. Sour fruity aroma and taste with prominent blueberry, medium acidic, grapes, touch of vinegar, tart berry fruity close.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a pink head. The aroma has notes of blueberries, oak, and brettanomyces. The flaovr is sour with notes of brettanomyces, brettanomyces, and wood, leading to a tart finish.

Draught @ Sori Taproom. 8,23%. Poured cherry red with a tiny white head. Aroma has blueberries, tartness, mild wood and dried fruits. Flavor has blueberries, tartness, funk, wood, all really balanced. Long tart finish with hint of almond as well.

(Keg at Sori Taproom, 20170706)The beer poured quite deep red and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sourness, fruitiness and blueberries. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, sourness, blueberries, wood and bitterness. Aftertaste was sour, sweet and bitter. A pleasant sour brew with the notes from blueberries, sweetness and sourness.
