Cloudy brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour are dominated by spices although they do fade as the beer has a chance to breathe. There's aniseed and sweet cakey spices too. The finish is great. That's where the wine barrel really comes through. The base beer is just too sweet.

Crowler from the Morebeer lockdown box. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, raisin, honey, floral notes and overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with alcohol warmth and prickly carbonation.

Fles gedeeld door Benzai na proeverijtje. Diep donkerbruin, troebel bier. Weinig geur en de smaak is fruitig (pruimen en rozijnen) en zoet plakkerig. De plakkerige smaak blijft even hangen.

Fles gedeelt door Inoven, met dank aan Benzai. Het is diep donkerbruin bier met een rode gloed. Het heeft de geur van gedroogd rood fruit. De smaak is zoet, rood fruit en houtig. Drinkt lekker weg!

Bottle shared at tasting. Dark red brown colored beer, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malty and, sweetish, a bit odd. Meh
