Meant to be a festive beer, we first launched this in the 2018 holiday season. We wanted to break with the tradition of Belgian holiday beers that are usually dark, sweet and heavy. A refreshing New Year's beer that is made with champagne yeast to give it a very fine vibrancy. Available year-round due to its popularity!

0.33 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', best before November 2024. Hazy, golden with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity-floral aroma of clove, banana, white grapes, vanilla, honey and gooseberry. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of banana, clove, coriander, vanilla, honey, white grapes and gooseberry, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth but fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Pleasant Witbier, drier than usual and nicely yeasty. Well done!

Bottle from Ambasada, drunk in chatz in Prague. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Pungent aroma, big flowery notes, some wheat maltiness, sweet, honeyish touches. malty, wheaty maltiness. Not much in terms of weizen esters and phenols, but... something. Lean taste, pear, prickly carbonation, maltiness, mildly peppery touches, traces of sage, actually quite drinkable. I'm kinda digging that one - it tastes exactly like it says it tastes really, interesting. Apart from vague oxidation, this isn't bad.
