Keg at Bishops Arms Östersund. Odd to see an ale come out of a keg, incredibly flat and lifeless but tastes lovely with very string hazelnut / praline taste. -------- Same place same condition. Boring but humble ale thay goes the distance. 3.4 to 3.1. --------- Keg at Bishops Arms, Sundsvall. Even more dissapointing. 3.1 to 2.9

$4.99 pint+ bottle from Rio Hill Wine. 5.2%. Clear brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel malts, little else. Flavor is sweet caramel malts, metal, brown leaves. This is an ESB? I guess. It’s fine. Drinkable.

Draft. Deep amber body with a brown, frothy head, lasting. Aroma of caramel, toasted bread, floral hops. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Nice and malty with caramel, plum and raisin tastes.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a deep amber colour, clean, with a warm beige creamy head, long lasting with some good lacing. Aromas of caramel, roasted malts with molasses and hints of coffee. The hop shows up a little more in the taste, which is light overall, being an easy-drinking brew. Still, decent roastiness and bread notes. Don’t mind this beer at all for a session.

From can at OSB 30.11.16. Clear dark golden. Diminishing dark beige head and lacing. Moderate aroma of English hops, grass and pale malt. Fine taste of malt, dried fruits, nuts and fresh grass, with medium bitterness. Quite dry. Lively carbonation. Good quaffability.
