Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Is clear with a straw yellow color with a small off-white head. The aroma is slightly sweet with notes of hay, sweet candy and some pale malt and herbs in the end. The taste is very similar but has a higher proportion of spices. Mouth feel is a bit watery and bitterness is light. A little weak and boring golden ale.

Biggish offwhite creamy lasting head. Clear golden body with carbonation. Floral fruity aroma with strawy earthy notes. Dry-sweet strawy earthy fruity taste with floral notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish floral fruity aftertaste with smoky (?!) metallic notes. Nice, drinkable, interesting. Surprised by the smoke, but it does work. (0.5l bottle, Meny Strømmen Storsenter.)

Biggish shiny offwhite coarseish head. Amber body. Strawy floral aroma with fruity notes. Dry-sweetish floral aroma with fruity notes. Dry-sweetish floral strawy taste with dusty notes. Mild mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry buttery linoleum aftertaste ends in emptiness. Unusual finish, but a nice, drinkable, balanced beer otherwise. (0.5l bottle, RealAle.com.)

0.5l bottle. Nice label. This one pours a crystal clear golden colored body with a small bubbly just off-white top. Lot's of grains and hay on the nose. Some green banana and thin caramel. Fair, but not a winner. It's lively on the carbonation and somewhat watery on the mouthfeel. Oh, boy this did not taste any good at all. Extreme grainy with a soft sour-fruity dusty undertone. Some soft bitterness in the finish and really mouthdrying in the aftertaste. Not a particular good or refreshing beer, but I like label and the name. 20.02.2013

(Bottle) Nice looking beer; very slightly hazy golden amber with a nice dense persistent white head. Little aroma; bready malty with an unusual hint that seemed cheesy. Medium body with pleasant carbonation, abundant and just slightly on the fizzy side. Starts with some fruity flavours with some honey like sweetness to balance and develops a rather metallic bitterness. Overall, it’s pleasant enough, but not special.

On cask @ The Portcullis, Stirling. Pours a cloudy light amber in colour with a nicely proportioned head. The nose is a combination of the oatmeal aromas from the malt and a lemon citrus note from the hops. There’s more of the same on the taste with perhaps something floral going on too.The palate is medium bodied with a lovely creamy texture and a clean finish. Overall, incredibly drinkable.

Bottle on the train from Edinburgh - 08/12/12. Clear pale golden with a decent off white head that retains well. Nose is a tad limited, pale malt, grain, barley. Taste follows, light fruit, brief interlude of hops. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bitterness in the finish. Boring and or average!

Cask @ JDW Inverness 071212
Golden amber, clear, thin dense white head, some lacing
Aroma - pale caramel malts
Taste - pale caramel malts, spicy hops, cereal malts, sweet honey malts, some butterscotch
Palate - medium body, oily texture. Finish - fairly dryish, bitterish spicy hop with sweet honey malts
Overall - It isn’t one of my favourites from Cairngorm but it’s not bad...certainly above average

(Cask at Black Door, 20121025) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grain, white bread, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A bit musty overall impression and the flavour I taste as white bread was not fitting here. Good aroma.
