A Pale with a big character all to itself. Once in the glass it has an outwardly simple and easy going golden appearance but it comes with lots of baggage! A well balanced mellow malt gives the beer a clear and rich body whilst a myriad of well selected hops leaves the beer with a wonderfully crisp late bitter finish.

Cask. This is interesting. Dry and bitter. Chalk, hops, both fresh and some old, with dusty basement and a little bit tart. Bone dry, with lingering, bitter hops in the aftertaste. Low alcohol, but the flavor is abrasive and it would be difficult to drink a lot of this.

Bottle @ home. Lightly unclear yellow - orange color, full sized rough white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is very fruity and hoppy. Taste lightly bitter, lots of fruit hops, fruity, lightly grapefruit, some pineapple, peach, mango. And only 3,8% ABV! Love this stuff!!

Aroma is musty with gooseberry bush and some lager-like grainy tones. Flavour is bitter in a harsh way with hops, grass, some herbal tones, minerals and grain. Decent.

Clear golden-amber color, steady white head. Hay and print paper in the nose. Light bodied, watery bodied. Light grassy hoppyness, light woody notes. Not much going on.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma has a touch of grapefruit, hints of chlorophyll, citrus, some biscuity malt. Taste is initially minimally sweet malty with a biscuit touch, hoppy overtones with some lemon, later via grassy and strawy simply chalky; very light body. From the first nose to the finish a consistent downward graph.
