Old rating - From the cask at Biere Atelier, St Helier, Jersey. Pours pale amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of pine. Good level of hops, touches of lemon in the medium bitter finish. Decent.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 25 March 2025) Golden colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with citrus, peaches and grass. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grass, peaches, white bread, fresh floral hops and a balanced citric/floral bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

Bottle from Lidl. It pours clear golden - blonde with a small fluffy bubbly white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, floral, daisies, biscuit, sponge cake, candied orange, tangerine, marmalade sandwiches and lemon. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, snappy, some bitterness, pleasing bitterness, quite clean, biscuity malt, toasty grains, fragrant, floral, pithy, zesty, tangerine, marmalade, touch of bitter lemon and some peppery spice with a drying, floral finish. Lightish body and average carbonation. Very approachable and drinkable stuff.

Another beer I’m surprised I haven’t rated before – but then again maybe not because I’m not that keen on purity beers. Anyway, cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy off-white head. Not much of an aroma – just hints of floral hops and marmalade. In the mouth it is juicy and slightly bitter with floral hops and hints of citrus. Later some herbal hints too,. Bitterness lasts into the slightly dry finish. It’s reasonable – but not particularly memorable.
