This chestnut-coloured beer is brewed using pale ale and crystal malt, which gives it a full-bodied flavour. A finely balanced hop character is enriched by the late addition of Styrian Goldings to give a prominent floral hop aroma and fuller flavour.

Bottle. Morrisons. A whole pound. New and fancy label. Pours clear, medium amber. Skim of white head. Nose has sweet, nutty grain. Some hard toffee. A little banana and bready yeast. Taste is burnt, nutty bitter. Some sweetness. Light body. Burnt bitterness to finish. Not bad, especially for the price.

Bottled 500ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Clear amber coloured, small off-white head, mild caramel nose. Sweetish malty, light caramel, herbalish hoppy and slightly watery with rather bitter finish. Drinkable but usual bitter.

Thanks Vran for sharing this with us! Poured a clear amber body. Herbal hop aroma, dry caramel notes. OK nuff. Taste... well... there are some nice English citric / herbal hoppy notes, but the mouthfeel is null and void almost, just too dry, being offset by the bitter finish. Seems like a hop profile that would match a slightly better-bodied beer. Well... any improvement on the body would be a large improvement. Meh.

Pours golden brown from the bottle. Aroma is caramel with a dash of turpentine. Taste is sweet with the sugar noticeable but by no means dominating. Overall remains sweet, and ends with a light bitterness at the finish. Relatively light bodied. Okay.
