Old rating from 10-04-15 - 500ml bottle, pours clear amber with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, citrus, grapefruit, earth, bread, raisins, grass, honey & malt. Light to medium body. Moderate bitter finish. Very enjoyable

500ml bottle watching England vs Switzerland Euro 2024. Given to me by a rep, but bizarrely a year past it's BBD. Pours a generally clear gold, white head. Aroma of caramelised malt. Flavour profile definitely seems more caramelly than expected, probably due to the age, fair sweetness to it, but nicely so. Drinks well. Not bad.

Cask at the London & County, Eastbourne. Poured a mostly clear golden colour with a thin frothy white head. The aroma is malt and yeast. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, yeasty, light caramel, earthy, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask, half pint. @The Flying Horse, Gatwick (England). 08/05/2024 [#7.105 Global - #898 England - #1 Butcombe Brewery (My English brewery #277)] Pours pale golden with a tiny white head. Aroma: sugary floral hops, grains and dough. Taste: grainy and bready. Buttery mouthfeel. Next one please!
