Think of berries. Think of stone fruit. Think of pine needles. Think of a 1970’s squash club changing room (sweaty). That’s Mosaic… 'Maybe One More PSI?’ is a single hop Vermont style showcase. If you don’t like Mosaic hops then you won’t like this beer.

440ml can at Farmers Bar, Kota Damansara, Malaysia. Poured a hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is grainy malt, mango, passion fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, smooth, juicy citrus, warm alcohol, dry hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Can from Bottles & Books. Hazy golden body with a white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of sponge cake, peach and orange. Flavour of ginger and nectarine. Medium to full body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Punchy and juice. Really liked the gingery note in this.

Can online from Sophie's Beer Store. Pours a cloudy orange colour with a large thick creamy off-white head. Aromas of orange, tangerine, peach, grapefruit, citrus pith and light tropical fruit notes. Taste has more of the same citrus notes, peach with some peppery spice and a marmalade like bitterness on the finish. Fullish body. Not my favourite beer from Verdant but still a very good one.

18/VIII/20 - 44cl can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: 11/XI/20, canned: 11/V/20 (2020-799)

Pretty cloudy orange beer, big solid creamy dense off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: hoppy, bit dank, very floral, some sulphur, onions, lavender, brimstone, chives, bit cheesy. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet, sugary, sticky and cloying, onions, bit soapy, dank hops. Aftertaste: ripe tropical fruits, bit less chemical and harsh on warming up, something herbal and spicy, lots of cardamom, orange peel, spicy, rather disappointing this one…
