500ml bottle. Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma is caramel, tea and boiled sweets. Taste is the same, caramel, tea and boiled sweets. Shite and brewed to a price. Nothing Christmasy about it either. On the plus side, big up my secret Santa for getting me a rate, piss poor or not.

Pours clear amber golden, topped with a small and very nonlasting white head. Very mild malty nose with some grassiness. Grassy bittery with a touch of lemony presence and quite sharp herbal aftertaste. Very light body. Quite too sharp in the taste for the gentle nose and body.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with slight reddish hue. One finger soapy white head, medium retention. Some broken lacing. Malty nose, some lager notes, touch of grassiness. Faint hops in the background. Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Watery palate. Medium bitter taste, pretty dry mouthfeel. Aroma as expected, some malts, lager notes, grassy hops. Touch of caramel in the background. Herbal notes. Subtle honey. Harsh bitterness towards the finish, dominating the aftertaste. Feels slightly unbalanced. Overall, drinkable. Nothing spectacular really, usual example of the style. Would prefer a bit more ABV and spiciness for Christmas special.

500ml bottle: BB 30 Sep 18. Drank at home on 23rd Nov 17. Cheap buy from B&M Bargains. Golden amber pour, weak white head. Slight festive feel to this, but there is more citrus and maltiness than Christmas spiciness, Fruit Cakeness or winter warming ingredients. So not very seasonal apart from the labeling and name.

Hazy amber gold., small white head. Tinny nose. Thin vague malt palate, medium hop bitterness. Not much here
