Bottled. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized beige head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, some nuts, mild chocolate as well as some liquorice and mild toasted notes. Flavour is quite similar, but also has a rather strong burnt sugary element to it. Quite roasted in the aftertaste.

Bottle at PoW, Farnborough. Low key malty chocolate aroma with a berry edge. Dark kinda murky cola brown. Thin off-white head. Creamy with a bitter edge. Very creamy chocolate and berries. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. Better than I was expecting. Pretty drinkable.

Part of my 2013 backlog. Deep brown colour with a tan head. The aroma has chocolate caramel. The taste has more of this with licorice.
