50cl bottle from Morrison’s, Bracknell. A bright amber colour with an immediately disipating white head, and lots of carbonation, looking much like a gassy cider; malty aroma with a touch of citrus; strong grainy taste; and a light woody bitterness. Poor in comparison with a modern IPA.

500ml bottle. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is grassy boiled sweets. Taste has sweet lemon to start and a bitter, grassy finish.

Bootle from Asda, golden colour with a white head. Aroma is plastic orange citrus. taste mainly sweet orange cordial.

Tap @ Golden, Burgos. Clear golden white. Nose light citric, caramel. Flavour is caramel citric hops, not very bitter, med high carbonation.

500ml bottle into an Abbot Ale glass tankard at home on 1st Dec 2016. Light amber body, clean and clear: the head a white crown of bubbles. Hop centric with a decent bitter front, good feel to this: the aroma helps, with a combination of tropical fruits and herbal notes which lead in nicely to the hoppy taste.

Pale blond with thin lacy head. Hints of tropical fruit in the aroma but less so in the flavour. Brewer and marketing department need to have a chat about the term "Triple Hopped"

Bottle form Asda. Amber in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Some citrus character, biscuity malts, trace of leafy hop and moderately bitter finish. fine.

Keg @ Pie & Ale, Manchester. Clear golden with a small head. Has a nice pale ale texture with a slight dryness. There’s a dry fruitiness about it too.
