Tap at CBF '19. Pours jet black with a beige head. Nose is big sweet booze, candy, some chocolate. Taste is sweet - and by this I mean REALLY sweet - with notes of candy, milk chocolate, warming booze. Medium body, soft carbonation, drinks below the ABV. Too sweet and one-dimensional, but a pleasant brew nontheless.

Pitch black, small creamy tan head, stays for a short while, nice lacing. Strong sweet aroma, sweet malt, marshmallows, turkish delight, spekkies, candy sugar, vanilla, mocha, alcohol. Taste heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, toffee, marshmallows, turkish delight, jamaica rum beans, alcohol. Full-bodied, sticky texture, soft carbonation, full sweet aftertaste, some malt bitterness, alcohol, rich and well-balanced, but a bit one-dimensional and typically something for sweet tooth.

(Can) Pours black with tiniest tan head. Rather odd aroma. There’s an artificial fruity note reminiscent to me of very cheap red wine. There’s some chocolate and hints. Full body with creamy texture and fine bright carbonation. The taste is pretty odd too. There’s a somewhat sugary dark toffee sweetness which is reasonably offset by a tangy fruitiness at the start and some burnt sugar and dark chocolate bitterness at the end. The booze is nicely present but not intrusive. However there is the same weird fruity note as in the aroma. I can’t place it but it reminds me of artificial fruit flavour in sweets maybe. Odd beer. Some good qualities but some not so good.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from an online shop, maybe Premier Hop. Pours deep brown with a frothy, khaki head. Fairly sweet, with a lot of dark sugars, some Turkish delight, a bit of chocolate, burnt marshmallow, sugar syrup, subtle earthy bitterness. Medium to full bodied with modest carbonation. Warm, almost hot in the finish, clear alcohol notes, more Turkish delight, sugary chocolate, a bit of stickiness on the lips, burnt toast. Drinkable but quite sweet and really basic.

330 ml can, from bestofbeers.dk . ABV is 12.8%. Pitch black colour, small tan head. Sweetish aroma of marshmallows, vanilla, chocolate and roast malts. Extremely sweet flavour, marshmallows, sugar and vanilla galore, a little roast malts in the finish, otherwise there is nothing here to remind you that this actually is a beer. Not my cup of tea. Won't buy again.

On tap at Craft Room, Opatovina, Zagreb. Black with a small brown head. Aroma is cocoa, milk chocolate, nuts, Nutella, liqueur. Roasty, toasty, licorice. Flavour is dark fruit, prunes, liqueur, syrup, roasty and burnt, alcohol. Soft, sweet, meaty, syrupy. Very good balance, dry earthy burnt finish. Strong but not boozy. Moderate finish. Nice base style. A good example of reaching into extremes.

Marshmallow, chocolate, some campfire smokiness - amazing. Best Stay Puft beer yet I think.
