Bottle 266 of 666, just past the BBE date (end 2020). Pours a clear deep brown-red colour and a small beige head with some retention. Aroma's of toffee and fruit, maybe slightly oxidized. Retronasal follows this, with the typical BT mossy aroma subdued. Flavour is moderate sweet'n'bitter and light fruity sour. Fairly strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Long finish, moderate bitter. Quite nice.
On tap @ Carnivale Brettanomyces 2023. Keg from 2017. Pours a murky orange/amber colour and a frothy off white head. Aroma's: moss, tannines. Retronasal there's also some sweetness and fruit. Flavour is noderate sweet and light sour warming alcohol. Medium bodied. Long finish, a bit sourish, bitterish.
