Pour is a bright yellow with no head. Aroma is budweiser like with a citurs smell. Flavor is a sweet lemon lime with a wet paper after taste. Think 7up and cardboard. Not real good on all levels and i’m glad i just bought a single.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Brought home from NYC by colleague Vinholdt - thanx Jan. Straw yellow in colour with a bobbly, white head that fades fast but never disappears completely. By the first sip this is reminiscent of a German Radler - a mix of Lager and lemonade. Here it’s lime-extract that adds the citrus-flavour, which rapidly mixes with the flavour of blue agave - best known as the main ingredient in Tequila. Watery, Corona-like beer-pop spiced up a little and marked as a party sensation. Who bothers...

Bottled, brewed in Russia by Tinkoff. My 300th rating serves as a warning: Tequiza is apparently being licensed to other countries. This Russian version does have a distinctly lime and agave note. But there’s still just no real reason for it to exist. Just buy a damn margarita. Interesting that the beer appears on their original Russian website, but when you switch to the English version, it’s gone. And for an outfit that claims craft brewing pretensions, what’s with the clear bottles? (Okay, this one was in green bottles, but you get the point)

Like Sprite, indeed! Need I go into details? Pours very light yellow, with a quickly dissipating white head. Flavor and aroma are all citrus, no beer. Serves its purpose, but spits on the intent of the craft.

Tastes like corona with a lime in it. What does that taste like?? Lime juice. oh and yes, there is a mild tequila flavor, almost indetectable. Beer taste. . .no.

This doesn't work for me. I like beer, I like tequila (and margaritas) - but I'd rather have either/or, but not mixed together like this. Flavor hints at margaritaesqueness but its then followed by a beer bitterness that ruins it (Imagine a bitter margarita).
