Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-caramel color with a small white head that fades quickly. The aroma is nutty and sweet with faint hints of grapefruit. The flavor is bitter and dry floral hops with tangy nutty malts.

Tap at Sea World. Light flowery hops and malt aroma. Light amber with small head. Light malt flavor with moderate floral hops finish. Really a very nice beer - well made and nicely drinkable. A good showing from A-B.

Even with a rigorous pour, I could coax no more than a half-inch cover out of it, which quickly dissipated to parital cover and then ring, obviously showing its filtration and artificial carbonation. The body is a heavily burnished copper-to-cherry-auburn. Clarity is stark, bubbles are large and initially strong. The head is off-white with some beige flecks.
Crystal malt, nuttiness and light oxidation? open the nose, with a slight flourish of peachy hops. Some citrus and resin, mostly adding bitterness. Medium to medium-low strength of aroma. Something flawed sits on the end, be it some type of fusel, phenol or metallic character. It’s quite apparent, whatever it is.
The flavor continues the trend of leanness, seen in the nose. The initial flavors are competent, adding apples, oranges, nuts, light caramel and honey, but are simply very stretched out. They do not last in to the finish, being severely loosened by the sagging carbonation. Furthermore, the odd phenol character perks up on the finish. A strange sharpness to it, that I can’t define (not sure if it’s a phenol even). You certainly can’t fault them for making it too sweet though...

It isn’t all bad, but certainly not very good. Appearance is the best quality. It is amber, lots of rising bubbles, and a thick Guinness-like head. Minimal hops in the aroma, with some lemon; and minimal hop flavor. Prominent lager taste.

Amberish color with a medium head, very clear and filtered appearance. Pleasing hop aroma with medium citric quality and a touch of caramel malt in the background. Flavor is a slight step down, where the hops become slightly muddled inside the caramel malts, but on the whole its pleasing and fairly tasty. The finish features just a kiss of well constructed bitterness. I like pale ales in this vein.

Pour is a amber with a small white head. Aroma is of caramel malts and hops. Flavor is super sweet dose of malts with a caramel aftertaste. Finish is watery and bland. Just a tad above par. Nothing to look for but it will do in a pinch.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with an off-white head. Light floral hop aroma with a bit of sweet malt. Sweet caramel flavor with floral and very light citrus hops. Very non-descript until it ends with a bit of a metallic tongue coating.
