MUDSKIPPER V4 (Neipa, 5.5%) is the newest in our series of New England IPA's. The malt bill and London Ale yeast give this beer a very hazy appearance and a soft texture. Plenty of dry hop is added during fermentation, where bio-transformation creates very expressive and fruity flavours. Every version showcases different hop combinations. V4 features a combination of Simcoe, Citra, Vic Secret and Amarillo.

Amber with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, honey melon, pineapple. Taste is bittersweet up front, trending slightly more bitter at the end. Medium bodied, slight chewiness. Good.

Can at home, from DeBierkonig, Amsterdam, 15th December 19. Pours a hazy yellow. Aroma is tropical fruit and pineapple. Taste is tropical and citrus, pineapple, dry and slightly bitter, drinks well, and not bad for the ABV.

Canned 22-11-19. I don't know what happened here, but I don't think this is as intended. Almost no hoppyness, and super bready / nutty. Watery, bitter and with a pretty unpleasant aftertaste.

Pours a murky golden orange colour and a firm rocky white head with good retention. Aroma's are nice dank with some (lactose?) sweetness and juicy fruit. Fruit is more upfront retronasal with dank hops and bitterness. Flavour is above moderate bitter with light juicy sourness. Light bodied. Finishes shortly quite bitter with some grain. Bitterness lingers.
