Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: pink semi-cloudy color with less than a finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: the nutmeg is extremely bold in this and very up front, lots of berries and some ginger; lacto/sour tones come in just a wee bit
Flavor: lightly sour with some tart then sweet vibes combining the prior noted aromatic features; mild finish of the tart berries and the nutmeg with a lil' bit of sweet character
Texture: light to medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness but also enough nutmeg and ginger grind to the tongue (I expected it and it showed up)
Overall: a very nicely done holiday seasonal tart ale I would welcome again.

Hazy pink color with a small white head; aroma of ginger ale, nutmeg; lightly tart flavor with a long, light tart finish; tried it because of the name and don’t regret it ;-)

On tap at Angel's Trumpet Ale House, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma has tons of cinnamon upfront, followed by cranberry, and a touch of nutmeg, ginger and lacto. Flavour expresses the cinnamon upfront, followed by tart cranberry, a bit of nutmeg and ginger, all situated over a tart, lacto-y base. Despite all the flavours, it's not sophisticated at all. The adjuncts are decently done but they can't save what is ultimately a cheap kettle sour.

Bottlecraft, Little Italy 2/24. Tons of planes overhead tonight. Hazy, dull plum, very frothy pour. Heavy cinnamon & dry malt on the nose. Taste is tart but thin cranberry, red cinnamon, a little date, touch of acidity, middling tartness, raisin bread finish. Thin & easy. Didn't hate this.

Can. A- Ginger, cranberry. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Pie spice, ginger, cranberry, nutmeg. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- A great holiday beer. Lots of cranberry, ginger, and spice but nothing outpowers the other. Right amount of tartness too. Yum.

Canned, huge thanks HP! Murky orange body, some head. CInnamon and berries in the lovely aroma. Lean, sweetish taste, ginger, citric notes, cinnamon, nutmeg, nice dry and sour, strudel-like. Good stuff!

Must be old stock, can's date is 10/22 and its a christmas brew. Anyway, it pours cloudy with a tint of orange on pale. Nose is cinnamon and other spices, maybe some fruit on the olfactory as well. This is alarming because I have had so many higher alky holiday brews which were overly spiced and almost intolerable. First big swig of this is a total surprise; first off, its lower in alky and the flavor is simply a tart friendly funhouse of flavors. Yea, this sat in my fridge for a while because I was scared to taste it, but now I know I should have cracked it as soon as I got home; much better than expected, it's got to be one of the better holiday brews that I ever had the honor of drinken. Fersher, I like tart beers, and this puts a positive spin on holiday beers; I'm really liking this. I never knew that ginger cinnamon and nutmeg could taste so good in a beer! Especially a holiday brew. The tart wild thing makes this all good. Good job prairie, for bucking the norm on spiced holiday brews.
