Brewed to quench the thirst of parched coalminers on the French and Belgian border. This ‘little grey one’ will do the same for you on any day, just like it did for the miners.

We like to describe this as a baby saison, not as yeasty and a bit more delicious.

Hay and some citrus. Pours golden with OK head. Nice hay-like bitter grain farm saison. Bitter finish. Tap at brewery.

A hazed blonde saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light banana esters, cloves, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, a bit thin but good. On tap at brewery.

16oz from Everything Wine @ 🏡. Appearance: slightly hazy blonde with a white head. Aroma: peppery, flowery, something smelly, maybe a bit yeasty. Taste: along the same lines, very crispy. Overall: ok, refreshing.

Draught at the brewery. Ok, sort of yeasty, not much in terms of captivating character.

On tap at Container, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out estery notes upfront, with crisp biscuity notes and gentle fruity notes. Flavour is quite grainy, with lots of spicy cereal notes, biscuity malt, and gentle esters. I really like the cereal grainy character, which produces a suitable dry mouthfeel. Very nice.

Clearish yellow gold with a decent white head. Light sweet pale malts and esters. Ligh sweetness. Touch of banana and a very light finish.

Draught at the brewery; called Pour Les Mineurs Frais and tagged 3.8% today on tap
Hazy blond colour. The arom ais fresh, mildly fruity and earthy. The mouthfeel is not too dry or weak; it has a very interesting character, lingering between fruity and spicy.
Very nice.

Has a nice clear goldish yellow body and modest white foam, soft saison grain and spice on the nose, mellow but present. Flavour is very soft saison grains, a bit of pepper. Simple and the low alcohol doesn't help bring the flavour forward. Clean but a bit too simplistic.
