Hazy amber with medium white head. Aroma is buttery and herbal hops, bready malts. Very clean. Taste is sweet malty juice with ricola bitterness. Low carbonation, easy to drink, a little heavier than water. Nice.

50cl Bottle from De Bierkoning. Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, bread, light grassy. Flavour is likewise, light buttery malts, decent underlying herbal bitterness that grows a bit. Medium bodied. Decent.

Golden amber. Thick head. Pale bread aroma is slightly doughy. Slightly fruity accent, starts doughy but gets moderately drier at the finish. All in all, a fairly middle-of-the-road example.

On tap (Greifenklau, Bamberg): deep golden, smaller, lacy persistent head, restrained grainy-malty nose, moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; grainy finish with some hoppyness in the aftertaste. Not superb, but good session Bock.........
