Tap at Beergeek. Assertive coffee presence, mostly dominating thecharacter. Full body, high sweetness. Very little deep malty roast to counter the sweetness, mostly just coffee from the actual coffee, providing flavour, but not bitterness. Feels heavier than its 6% ABV. Very good for coffee lovers, though I am not exactly that.

Tap at Beergeek. Almost pitch black body, dark brown head. Pungent maltiness in the aroma, with some lighter coffee notes. Lean coffee taste, some smoke notes, okay sweetish maltiness, a bit lean but generally medium bodied. Pretty good.

(Draught at Cloudwater Taproom, Bermondsey, London, 23 Nov 2019) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, black rye bread and cacao. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark bread, sweet liquorice and a balanced coffee bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Really tasty with a rich coffee character and a touch of liquorice. Very nice.

Pretty clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of coffee, bit malty, caramel, molasses, more coffee. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of coffee, bit malty, bit watery, carmel, more coffee, mocha. Aftertaste: watery, little bitter, caramel, grains, bit malty, some chocolate.

Can. Can’t recall where from. Clear, cola brown. Fine, dense, lasting, beige head. Nose has coffee cream chocolates. Wood ash. Coffee bean. Hops here give it a CDA kind of vibe. Taste is sweet and creamy. Earthy, coffee bean bitterness. Smooth on the palate. Soft carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Nice porter.
